Select Image Compression on the Image Quality/File Format screen.
Basic Scanning
The Image Compression screen is displayed.

Select the compression method.

After checking the setting, select Save.
The display will return to the Image Quality/File Format screen.

If necessary, configure other scan settings.

Press Start.
Scanning of the document will begin and the scanned data will be saved in the specified mailbox.
