Load documents in the Head to Left
orientation with the edges A and B of
the documents aligned at the top left
corners.
Remove any clips or staples attached to the docu-
ments.
The documents might not be scanned correctly if
their top left corners are not properly aligned.
Edge A of the document refers to the width of the edge
q
that is being fed into the machine.

Load all documents aligned to the
inner edge of the DADF and the docu-
ment guide.
Align edge A of documents to the mouth of the
feeder and adjust the document guide accord-
ingly.

ments to the DADF.
Be sure to align edge B of documents to the inner edge of
the DADF. If the documents are not loaded correctly, it
may cause the document to jam.

Display the Basic Scanning screen.

Select the mailbox for saving the scanned data.
