Removing the propeller shaft
housing assembly
1. Remove the bolts 1, ring 2, and bolts

2. Pull out the propeller shaft housing
assembly.

1. Remove the spring 1, and then remove
the cross pin 2, dog clutch 3, slider 4,
shift plunger 5, and shift rod joint 6.

1. Remove the reverse gear and reverse
gear shim(s).

Slide hammer and adapters 1:

2. Remove the ball bearing.

CAUTION:
Do not reuse the bearing, always replace
it with a new one.
