Rear Brake - Honda V30 Magna VF500C Manual

REAR WHEEl/BRAKE/SUSPENSION
Install the rear brake torque link to the brake panel.
Install the rubber spacer, washer and nut.
TORQUE: 18-25 N·m (1.8-2.5 kg-m, 13-18 ft-Ib)
Install a new cotter pin.
Connect the brake rod with brake arm spring and
adjusting nut.
Adjust the rear brake (Page 3·17).
REAR BRAKE
Remove the rear wheel and remove the brake panel
from the rear wheel.
LINING THICKNESS INSPECTION
Measure the rear brake lining thickness.
SERVICE LIMIT: 2.0 mm (0.08 in)
