ALTERNATOR/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Install the spindle assembly.
NOTE:
Align the center of the guide groove in the
shift spindle with the center of the pin.
Be careful not to shift the drum shifter
from the neutral position.
Tighten the bolts and nut.
I nstall the return spring.
I nstall the dowel pins and a new gasket.
Install the gearshift linkage cover.
Check the operation of the gearshift linkage.
