Tap the valve stems gently with a soft hammer to
firmly seat the cotters.
NOTE:
Support the cylinder head above the work
bench surface to prevent possible valve
damage.
Install the O-ring and spring washer onto the rocker
arm shaft.
Apply engine oil to the rocker arm shaft and install
the rocker arm.
Apply liquid sealant to the thread of the rocker arm
shaft.
I nstall and tighten the rocker arm shaft.
TORQUE: 45-55 N·m (4.5-5.5 kg-m, 32-40 ft-Ib)
