FUEL SYSTEM
INSTALLATION
I nstall the pilot screws and return them to their
original position as noted during removal.
Perform pilot screw adjustment if new pilot screws
are installed (Page 4-17).
NOTE:
Do not install new plugs until after adjust-
ment has been made.
If you replace the pilot screw in one car-
buretor, you must replace the pilot screws
in the other carburetors for proper adiust-
ment.
CARBURETOR SEPARATION
Bend the lock plate tabs down and remove the eight
bolts.
Remove the air cleaner base from the carburetor.
Remove the cotter pins and washers and remove the
choke link (No.2-to-No.3 carburetor).
Remove the link plate setting nuts reel washers and
remove the choke links (No.1-to-No.3 and No.2-to-
No.4).
