COOLING SYSTEM
Remove the clutch slave cylinder.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to disconnect the clutch
oil line.
To prevent the clutch system from air con-
tamination, and the slave cylinder piston
from falling, squeeze the clutch lever im-
mediately after removing the slave cylin-
der, and tie the lever to the handle grip.
Remove the drive sprocket cover.
Loosen the hose bands and disconnect the water
hose from the water pump cover.
Remove the four bolts and the water pump cover.
Remove the hose clamp from the water hose; then
disconnect the water hose from the water pump.
Remove the water pump from the crankcase.
NOTE:
Further disassembly of the water pump can-
not be done.
