Trunk (Exchange Line) Access

Description
The System supports the following ways to seize an idle exchange line to make an outside code:
Exchange Line Trunk (Exchange Line) Access

Direct Trunk (Exchange Line) Access

MCO Line (Exchange Line) Preference
MCO Trunk (Exchange Line) Access
CO Line Key Trunk (Exchange Line) Access
You can access an outside line by pressing a CO/Exchange line key.
Operation
To access an outside line:
1. Press a vacant CO/Exchange key.
2. Dial the phone number
Direct Trunk (Exchange Line) Access
Extensions can seize a specific exchange line for outgoing calls. Extensions can also use Direct Trunk
(Exchange Line) Access to test exchange lines or to access data exchange lines.
Operation
To use Direct Trunk (Exchange Line) Access:
1. Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF key.
2. Enter the Direct Trunk (Exchange Line) Access code
(default = 88).
3. Enter the desired exchange line number.
4. Dial the phone number.

MCO Line Preference

MCO Line Preference allows you to place an outside call by simply picking up the handset. When you
go offhook, the MCO 1 exchange line group is automatically accessed.
