BATTERY
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the battery negative cable, then positive cable.
Remove the battery.
Install the battery in the reverse order of removal.
VOLTAGE CHECK
Remove the battery cover and remove the battery positive ter-
minal cover.
Measure the voltage using a digital voltmeter.
VOLTAGE: Fully charged 13.0-13.2 V
Under charged Below 12.3 V

CAUTION
• Quick-charging should only be done in an emergency; slow
chllrg,ing is verferl"ed.
• For do not exceed the charging current and
time specified on the battery. Using excessive current or extend-
the charging time may damage the battery.
After installing the battery, coat the terminals with clean
grease.
