Operation
Accessing AWSomation
AWSomation is accessed using the soft keys on the Master Control Panel in the centre section. Refer to page 5-
22 for an explanation of the use of soft keys if you are not familiar with this section of the console.
Use the soft keys to select SSL then Auto to access the main AWSomation menu.
The soft keys will now show a range of AWSomation options.
List Mix Menu
The List Mix menu is the main file menu for the AWSomation system. The main window shows a list of stored
Mix Passes. To reach this menu press the List Mix key on the top row of soft keys.

through the list of mix
passes. To create a new
mix select New Mix and
press the same rotary
control. To create a mix
based on a previous mix
pass, select the desired

Press Save/Load to save Mix
dump, or to load mix passes
If the desk is turned off these settings will be lost. AWSomation Mix Passes must be saved to a stand-
alone SysEx Librarian or DAW MIDI track for permanent storage.
New Mix Passes are numbered starting at '1'. If a Mix Pass is deleted (see below) then its number will not be re-
used. The only exception to this is if all Mix Passes are deleted. The numbering will then restart from '1'.
Changing the selected Mix Passes
The left D-Pot can be used to scroll through the list of AWSomation Mix Passes. A yellow cursor indicates which
Mix Pass is currently chosen to be modified. The D-Pot's push-push switch can be used to either start a New Mix,
or select a previous Mix Pass to modify.
