Front Camber Inspection
Use commercially available computerized four wheel
alignment equipment to measure wheel alignment
(caster, camber, toe, and turning angle). Follow the
equipment manufacturer's instructions.
Check the camber angle. lf the camber angle is not
within the specification, adjust the camber.
Front camber angle:
0"30' t 45'
Front Camber Adjustment
The front camber can be adjusted by exchanging one or
both of the damDer Dinch bolts with the smaller
diameter adjusting bolt(s). The difference between the
adjusting bolt diameter and the pinch bolt hole
d i a m e t e r a l l o w s a s m a l l r a n g e o f a d j u s t m e n t .

Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it with
safety stands in the proper location (see page 1-8).
Remove the front wheels.
L o o s e n t h e d a m p e r p i n c h n u t s a n d b o l t s ( A ) , a n d
adjust the camber by moving the bottom of the
d a m p e r w i t h i n t h e r a n g e o f t h e d a m p e r p i n c h b o l t
free play.

Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
Reinstall the front wheels. Lower the front of the
v e h i c l e t o t h e g r o u n d , a n d b o u n c e t h e v e h i c l e
s e v e r a l t i m e s t o s t a b i l i z e t h e s u s p e n s i o n .
C h e c k t h e c a m b e r a n g l e . l f i t i s w i t h i n t h e
specification, check the front toe. lf it is not within
the specification, go to step 6.
