Turn Signal/Hazard Relay Input Test
1 . R e m o v e t h e t u r n s i g n a l / h a z a r d r e l a y ( A ) f r o m t h e u n d e r - d a s h f u s e / r e l a y b o x ( B ) .
Inspect the relay and fuse/relay box socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact
. lf the terminals are bent. loose, or corroded, repairthem as necessary, and recheckthe system.
. lf the terminals look OK, go to step 3.
Make these input tests at the fuse/relay box.
. l f a n v t e s t i n d i c a t e s a p r o b l e m , f i n d a n d c o r r e c t t h e c a u s e , t h e n r e c h e c k t h e s y s t e m .
. l f a l l t h e i n p u t t e s t s p r o v e O K , t h e t u r n s i g n a l / h a z a r d r e l a y m u s t b e f a u l t y . R e p l a c e i t

There should be continuiw.

Check for voltage to ground:
There should be battery voltage.
' Blown No. 19 (7.5A) fuse in the
under-dash fuse/relay box
. Faulty hazard warning switch

Check for voltage to ground:
There should be battery voltage.
. Blown No. 5 {10A) fuse in the
under-hood fuse/relay box
. Faulty hazard warning switch
. An ooen in the wire
