STOPPING AND PARKING

WARNING
If you can, do not stop or slow down
suddenly and avoid limit-braking.
� � Release the throttle grip and gradual-
ly put on the brakes to stop the
motorcycle.
� � If you need to stop only briefly, keep
at least one brake applied.
WARNING
Park the vehicle on firm and level
ground, to prevent it from falling. Do
not lean the vehicle against a wall, or
lay it on the ground. Make sure that
the vehicle, and in particular hot
motorcycle components, may not put
the safety of persons and children at
risk. Do not leave the motorcycle
unattended with the engine running
or the key in the ignition switch. Do
not sit on the vehicle when the stand
is down.
� � Turn on the turn signal lamp and
return the throttle grip.
� � When completely stopped, turn off
the turn signal lamp. Set the key "
(OFF) position.
Park the motorcycle on a firm, flat
surface where if will not full over.
CAUTION
With the engine stopped and the igni-
tion switch in "
