Printer State Control Switches

The Series 80PLUS Printer controller monitors the state of the printer based on the position of several
switches housed in the mechanism. The switches monitor the printer with respect to the availability of
paper and the position of the cover and cutter mechanism.

Paper Out Switch

Mechanical switch used to indicate the presence of paper.

Cover Open Switch

Mechanical switch used to indicate a closed or opened cover.

Cutter Position Switch

Mechanical switch used to indicate proper homing of the cutter mechanism.
