Troubleshooting Tips

If you need to test the NIC further after running diagnostic
tests, use the following troubleshooting tips.

Check the NIC installation. Make sure that the board is
seated correctly in the slot. Check for specific hardware
problems, such as broken traces or loose or broken
solder connections.
Inspect all cables and connections. Check the length
and rating of the cable. Make sure that the cable
segment is compliant with the requirements shown

configured. Connect the NIC to a different network
port and run the tests again.
