System Configuration

This section describes how to work with the KWS 8000 Operation and
Management (OAM) program.
The KWS8000 OAM program enables you to manage text messages, status
information, user registration, and base station information. Furthermore, you
use the OAM program to maintain the system and keep track of system
statistics.
The System Configuration tab displays hardware and interface information for
each shelf and for each slot in each shelf.
You can view the following information about hardware product change status
(HW PCS) for each slot in each shelf, and information about which Interface
card is used in each slot in each shelf. Furthermore, you can view information
about which software version is currently used.
The following figure provides an example of the information that is displayed
on the System Configuration tab.
