    Installing KIRK Wireless Server 300 Installing the KWS300 The KWS300 is suitable for mounting indoors on a wall. Mount the KWS300 on the wall, using the anchors and screws provided. Note: When you place the KWS300 on the screws, ensure that the screws do not touch the printed circuit board.

    Configuring KIRK Wireless Server 300 This section provides you with information on how to power up the KWS300 and connect the unit to a computer. It also provides information on how to configure a KWS300 through the web based Administration Page. Note The KWS300 is pre-configured to use DHCP.

Prior to firmware release PCS05B_, by default, the KWS300 used static IP address (192.168.0.1). The current IP Address of the KWS300 can be discovered using UPnP.     KIRK Handset Registration This section provides information about handset registration and subscription. You must register and subscribe a handset before you can use it. Note This section only describes how to register handsets on the KWS300. You also need to register the users on the call handler. For registering users on the call handler, refer to the call handler user guide.

Back-Up and Restore Handset Data You can back-up and restore the handset data using the web based Administration Page. The back-up of the handset data consists of two databases to be saved, i.e. the User Database (names and numbers) and the Subscription Database (bindings between handset and server).
