Switch off the sewing machine before carrying out
maintenance work.

5.15.1 Cleaning the machine

ATTENTION
Malfunctions possible due to machine
contamination.
Sewing dust and thread remains can impair the
operation of the machine.
Clean the machine at regular intervals as
described in the manual.
Sewing dust and thread remains must be removed every
8 operating hours using a compressed-air pistol or a brush. In the
case of very fluffy material to be sewn, the machine must be
cleaned more frequently.
