Default settings

Your telephone set has been pre-programmed in the factory as follows:
Multiple Subscriber Number (MSN)
Language of display texts
Call forwarding
Call filter
Call waiting
Calling line identification restriction (CLIR)
Connected line identification presentation (COLP)
Ringing signal
MSN outgoing
PIN code
Direct call
Error tone
Programming lock
TAD direct
Call transfer (ECT) by on-hook
Answering machine
Listening in
Number of ringing signals
Charge saving function
Recording time
Monitoring (room surveillance)
You can change these settings to suit your requirements.
For using the basic functions and capabilities of Eurit 40, the following settings are required (for
additional settings refer to section "Other functions and facilities", Page 28, and "Supplementary
services", Page 50):
– Set time/date
– Set display language
– Set error tone
– Set telephone numbers (MSN)
– Set-up card file
– Adjust volume
For programming the desired settings always leave the handset on-hook. The programming
operation is interrupted as soon as you pick up the handset.
