Listening via loudspeaker

Eurit 40 is equipped with a loudspeaker that allows other people in the same room to listen-in to a
telephone call.
Increasing/decreasing the speaker volume:

Hands-free mode

With the microphone and loudspeaker of your Eurit 40 you can make telephone calls without
picking up the handset.
When the connection is established you can conduct the call in hands-free mode. After the call has
been terminated:
This is how you can improve the sound quality:
– In hands-free mode your voice is transmitted better if you set the loudspeaker to low volume.
– If you do not have to speak yourself but only want to listen (e.g. weather report):
Press the Microphone mute key.
Activating hands-free mode during a telephone call
You are conducting a telephone call with the handset off-hook.
On completion of the call:
Press the Loudspeaker key while the call is in progress.
Repeatedly press the Plus/Minus key until the desired volume is attained.
Press the Loudspeaker key.
Dial the telephone number.
Press the Loudspeaker key.
Hold down the Loudspeaker key.
Put the handset on-hook, release the Loudspeaker key. You can now
continue the call in hands-free mode.
Press the Loudspeaker key.
