Adjusting the handset volume for an existing connection

To increase/decrease the handset volume:

Muting the microphone (Mic-Mute)

You are conducting a telephone call and briefly want to talk to another person in the same
room. To prevent the person on the telephone from hearing this conversation, press the
Microphone mute key.
The symbol ‹ is displayed for as long as the Microphone mute key is engaged.

Setting the call charge units

For displaying the call charges during a call (or after, depending on the type of connection),
the costs per unit of charge must be set. The default factory settings are: Pf.: 12 (0.12 DM) or
Gr.: 80 (0.80 ATS). To modify this value, if necessary:

Displaying/clearing the call charges and call duration

You can display and clear the call charges (if the unit of charge has been set as described above)
and the call duration for all MSNs in total as well as individually for each MSN.
The total of all charges and the duration of all calls are displayed.
To clear the counters:
Repeatedly press the Plus/Minus key until the desired volume is attained.
Press Microphone mute key.
Enter the submenu Main menu/Charges/settings.
Enter the unit of charge.
Save.
Enter the submenu Main menu/Charges.
Press the Display key at del. charges.
