Activating/deactivating the mail function
You can decide whether mails are to be received or sent.
To change the settings displayed under Mail:
When the "Mail" function is active the icon
Depositing mail
The MSN on which the mail is deposited may only be assigned to one telephone set.
Precondition for depositing mails: "Mail" function is active (see above)

Under Mail 1, Mail 2, Mail 3 you can enter different texts that you can assign to the
MSNs. The last text saved is always the "deposited" text and can be received by other subscribers
or transmitted from you.
Send mail during connection set-up
Enter the submenu Settings/Suppl. services.
Repeatedly press the Display key at Mail until the desired setting is
displayed (>ON< for activation, >OFF< for deactivation).
Save.

Enter the submenu Functions/Deposit mail.
Repeatedly press the Display key of the desired MSN until e.g. Mail 1
is displayed.
Press the Display key at empty.
Enter the mail text.
Save.
With the handset on-hook press the Display key at Tel. functions.
Press the Display key at Send mail.
Press the Display key of the desired mail. If no mail is saved you can
enter one at this point and send it.
