Connect—Modem
Connects to the PBX in Interactive mode through the modem.
To access the PBX remotely using this feature, an RMT card must be installed and the analog remote
maintenance floating extension number assigned. For more details, see "4.16.3 Miscellaneous [10-3]".

Function
Saves the current profile information.
Deletes the current profile information.
Description
Enter a name used to identify this set of
values.
Specify the number of the COM port
assigned to the PC's modem interface.
Only available COM ports will be
displayed.
Specify the code to be sent to signify the
end of a line. Choose CR+LF.
Specify the speed of data transmission.
Specify whether the rate of data transfer
is managed by hardware or not. Choose
Hardware.
Enter the modem initialize command.
For more details, refer to your modem's
instruction manual.
Enter the telephone number to be dialed
to access the PBX.
Specify the outgoing dialing method.
If Manual is chosen, dialing must be
done with a connected telephone.
Enter the password corresponding to the
Programmer Code used to log on to the
Maintenance Console.
Select whether to save the password
when the profile is saved.
Enter a comment to help to identify this
profile.
