Mailbox communication

Mailbox communication functions by using a mailbox to receive a document
to be sent to a specific person. Since a mailbox ID is required during trans-
mission and reception, confidential documents can safely be faxed.
Sending a document to a mailbox on the recipient's machine is called a mail-
box transmission, and receiving a document in this machine's mailbox is
called a mailbox reception.
The following procedures describe how to register mailboxes, send mailbox
transmissions, and print a document received in a mailbox.

A maximum of five mailboxes can be specified on this machine. For de-
tails, refer to "Registering mailboxes" on page 5-49.
If one-touch dial keys or speed dial numbers are programmed with the
recipient's F-codes, F-code transmissions/receptions can be performed.
For details, refer to "Mailbox transmission" on page 3-7.

Registering mailboxes

In order to receive documents in mailboxes, the mailboxes must first be reg-
istered. For details, refer to "Registering mailboxes" on page 5-49.
