Receiving Internet faxes
In addition to sending Internet faxes, this machine can receive Internet faxes.
The following procedures describe how to receive Internet faxes.
Receiving Internet faxes
In order to receive an Internet fax, settings for the following must first be
specified. If the settings are not specified correctly, a communication error
will occur and the reception cannot be completed correctly.
- IP ADDRESS SETTING
- SUBNET MASK
- GATEWAY
- POP3 SERVER ADDRESS
- POP3 PORT NO.
- POP3 TIMEOUT
- POP3 ACCOUNT
- POP3 PASSWORD
- AUTO RECEPTION
- REPLY ADDRESS
- HEADER PRINT

Data that can be received
Data in the following formats can be received.
- Text
- TIFF images
- Combination of text/TIFF image
Data in the following format cannot be received.
- File format specific to a certain application
