About this Chapter
This chapter provides all of the information necessary to install, use, and maintain the Offset Out-
put Tray, including procedures for cleaning and removing paper jams.
About the Offset Output Tray
The offset output tray is an optional output tray that attaches to the top rear of the printer and can
hold up to 500 printed sheets. The printer supplies all of the operating power that is needed by the
offset output tray. Motors and circuit boards internal to the offset output tray provide it with drive
and operational logic.
The offset output tray can be installed with only the printer, or it may be installed with other
paper-handling options.
