Installing the Face Up Tray

Before installing the face up tray, remove it from its packaging and verify that you have received an
face up tray and that it is in good condition. If any part of the face up tray is missing or damaged,
contact your dealer.
Use the following procedure to install the face up tray:
1.
Remove any cardboard inserts or packing tape from the interior and exterior of the face up
tray.
2.
Turn the printer off by pressing [ O ] on the power switch on the front left of the printer, and
disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet.
NOTE:
Installing the face up tray while the printer is on may damage the printer or the face up tray.
3.
Squeeze the latch on the top left of the rear cover to release the cover, then open the rear cover
by pulling down on the top of the cover.
