Transmitting Documents With
a Cover Page (Cover Note)
The machine provides a Cover Note that is printed at the remote machine before printing the
transmitted documents.
It includes remote name, comment, sender name, fax number of this machine, the number
of transmitted pages, date, and note.
G A Cover Note can be individually set for each Address Number. For details on how to register Address Numbers,
see "9.3 Setting an Address Number" (P. 150).
G When Send Header is set to On, the Send Header is not printed on the Cover Note.
G You cannot use the Cover Note feature, if you broadcast a document using the numeric keypad. If necessary, pro-
gram the Cover Note into the Address Number.
G The size and resolution of the Cover Note is the same as the first page of the documents.
G Comments must be entered beforehand. For details on how to enter comments, see "9.5 Setting a Comment"
(P. 171).
