Upgrading one SRT 5392 from another SRT 5392
Make sure both receivers are turned off before undertaking this procedure.
1. Connect a null modem cable between the RS-232 ports of both receivers.
2. Turn on the SRT 5392 that already has the latest software.
3. Turn on the SRT 5392 that needs to be upgraded. Upgrading automatically commences.
When the upgrade is finished, the second SRT 5392 restarts.

Restore default settings

You can restore the SRT 5392 to its default factory settings. This restores all default settings and all
channels, stations, preferences and user settings will be lost.
To restore default settings:
1. Press MENU to display the main menu.
2. Use VOL or VOL
3. Press CH ▼or CH ▲ to highlight Factory Setting and then press OK.
The Factory Setting window appears.
WARNING: If you proceed with restoring defaults, all your settings and channel information will
be lost
4. To proceed, press OK (otherwise press VOL
to select Tools.
