6. Press MENU to exit the recording screen and return to normal viewing. A small recording window
with the index number appears for a few seconds in the top right corner of the TV screen.
You can repeat this procedure to record up to four channels simultaneously.

Timer recording mode

Timer mode allows you to set a timer to start recording a program at a specified time. You can set
up to forty timers.
1. Press MENU to display the main menu.
2. Press VOL or VOL
3. Press CH ▼or CH ▲ to select Timer Setting and then press OK. The Timer Setting screen appears.
4. Press the red button to add a new timer recording. The Timer Event screen appears.
5. Set the required recording options:
• The Mode option lets you specify what is to occur at the specified time: start recording, turn
off the power, or turn on the power. Press VOL
• With Channel selected, press OK to display a menu of all available channels. Press CH ▼or
CH ▲ to select the channel you want to record (or to appear when the SRT 5392 powers on)
and then press OK.
• With Time selected, press VOL
