Details of the program currently being recorded appear on the screen.
4. Press CH ▼or CH ▲ to highlight Duration.
5. using the number keys on the remote control, enter a duration for the recording. (Press VOL

6. Press OK. A message appears confirming that the duration has changed.
7. Press MENU to return to normal viewing.

Normal recording mode

Normal recording mode allows you to save up to four programs. In normal recording, you set the
channel, time and duration of the recording. You can also watch a live program and use the time
shift functions. For detailed instructions, see "Timeshift" on page 49.
1. Press MENU to display the main menu.
2. Press VOL or VOL
3. Press CH ▼or CH ▲ to select Recording and then press OK. The Recording screen appears.
4. Set the required recording options:
• The Record Index is a number that identifies the particular recording. You can select 1, 2, 3
or 4. Press VOL
• With Channel selected, press OK to display a menu of all available channels. Press CH ▼or
CH ▲ to select the channel you want to record and press OK.
• The Mode option lets you determine how the duration of recording is to be set. There are
three options: Normal (which lets you set the duration); EPG time (which takes the duration
from that shown in the Electronic Program Guide); and No Limit (which let's you record
continuously). Press VOL
• If you selected Normal mode, you can set a duration for the recording. Select the Duration
option and, using the number buttons on the remote control, enter the duration (in HHMM
format).
• If you want to change the title of the program, select the Title option and press OK. An on-
screen keyboard appears. Press VOL
screen keypad, and then press OK to select the currently highlighted letter. When you have
finished renaming the program, press EXIT to return to the Recording screen.
5. Press the red button to begin recording immediately.
