until you have selected all the characters to form the new name.
NOTE: If you select the wrong character, press the green button to erase the last character.
8. When you have finished selecting all the required characters, press EXIT to return to the Edit
channel screen. The new name you have created will be displayed in the channel list.
9. If you want to rename another channel or station, repeat from step 5.
10. Press MENU or EXIT. A confirmation message appears asking you to confirm the changes you
have made.
11. Press OK to save the changes.

Setting passwords

You can restrict access to the SRT 5392 by specifying that a password must be entered in order to
see or do certain things. You can, for instance, restrict access to menus, access to channels, access
to the receiver, and access to programs of particular classifications.
To restrict access:
1. Press MENU to display the main menu.
2. Press VOL
or VOL
3. Press CH ▼or CH ▲ until Lock Control is highlighted. and then press OK. The Lock Control
window appears.
4. To restrict access to the SRT 5392 for installation tasks (such as software upgrades), select Install
Lock and press VOL
5. To restrict access to the menus, select Menu Lock and press VOL
highlighted.
6. To enable channels to be locked, select Channel Lock and press VOL
highlighted.
7. To restrict all access to the SRT 5392, select IRD Lock and press VOL
highlighted.
8. To restrict access to channels of a particular classification, select Parental Control and press VOL
or VOL
until the minimum classification that requires a password is highlighted. The options
are No Block, Block All, G, PG, M, MA and AV.
