Transfer belt unit
Warning
Switch off the power and disconnect the power cord.
1.
Open the top cover.
2.
Remove the drum/toner cartridge basket and store in a lightproof bag
to protect the drum units from light.
3.
Push the transfer belt unit locking tabs toward the rear of the printer to
release the unit.
4.
Using the transfer belt unit handle, lift the unit about 1/2 inch (12 mm).
5.
Using the handle and the front frame of the transfer belt unit, remove
the unit.
Removing the transfer belt unit
Reverse these steps to install the transfer belt unit. Ensure the transfer belt unit's
locking tabs fully engage.
