At the printer control panel, press the Menu button.
Note:
To navigate through the menu, use the Up or Down arrow buttons.

Navigate to Admin Settings, then press OK.
3.
Navigate to Service Tools, then press OK.
4.
Select Adjust Paper Type, then press OK.
5.
Select Plain or Label, then press OK.
6.
Select Lightweight or Heavyweight, then press OK.
7.
To return to Service Tools, press the Back arrow button, or to return to the main menu, press the
Menu button.

Adjusting the Transfer Belt Unit

Adjust Transfer Belt Unit allows you to improve print quality for selected paper types.
To adjust the transfer belt unit:
1.
At the printer control panel, press the Menu button.
Note:
To navigate through the menu, use the Up or Down arrow buttons.
2.
Navigate to Admin Settings, then press OK.
3.
Navigate to Service Tools, then press OK.
4.
Navigate to Adjust Transfer Belt, then press OK.
5.
At Adjust TransBelt, K Offset, press OK.
6.
At K Offset, to increase or decrease the value, use the Up and Down arrow buttons, then press
OK.
7.
Press the Back arrow button.
8.
At Adjust TransBelt, navigate to YMC Offset, then press OK.
9.
At YMC Offset, to increase or decrease the values, use the Up and Down arrow buttons, then
press OK.
10. To return to Service Tools, press the Back arrow button, or to return to the main menu, press the
Menu button.

Adjusting the Transfer Roller

Use Adjust Transfer Roller to specify the bias transfer roller voltage for printing on the selected paper
type. If the printed image is too light, increase the offset for the paper you are using. If the printed
image is mottled or blotchy-looking, decrease the offset for the paper you are using.
