Toner sensor actuators
Warning
Switch off the power and disconnect the power cord.
1.
Remove the top cover. Remove the drum/toner cartridge basket.
Cover the basket in a lightproof black bag and store in a safe place.
2.
Disconnect the four LED power harnesses from the bottom of the toner
sensor board.

Close the top cover inner unit.
4.
Remove the four screws securing the metal shield over the toner sensor
board.
5.
Remove the three screws securing the toner sensor board and the
insulator.
6.
Rotate the board up to expose the component side of the board.
7.
Open the top cover inner unit.
8.
From the underside of the top cover inner unit, use a small screwdriver
to carefully push up the arms of the sensor actuator until they are free.
