Registration components
Registration clutch
Warning
Switch off the power and disconnect the power cord.
1.
Open the top cover. Remove the drum/toner cartridge basket. Cover
the basket in a lightproof black bag and store in a safe place.
2.
Open the front cover.
3.
Remove the right-side cover as described in the topic "Right-side cover"
on page 89.
4.
Remove the right shield plate as described in the topic "Right shield
plate" on page 93.
5.
Disconnect the RCL connector from the printer engine controller board.
6.
Remove the screw securing the ground strap to the motor bracket.
7.
Remove the E-Ring securing the clutch to registration shaft B.
8.
Remove the registration clutch.

Reverse these steps to install the registration clutch.
