Message: Illegal IndexFields setting!
Cause:
IndexFields setting is specified incorrectly.
Solution: Change IndexFields setting.

Importing Data

This section describes the error messages you might encounter while editing import maps or importing data
from MasterDirectory.
Message: Cannot open source database file!
Cause:
The database file is locked by another program.
You have a single-use license.
Solution: If the database file was locked by another program, wait until the database file is unlocked.
If you have a single-use license, purchase MasterDirectory 2.0 or higher.
Message: Cannot use memo field in import map!
Cause:
Source dBase file has a field that is MEMO.
Solution: Edit the import map file and exclude the field from the list of mapped fields.
Message: All mapped fields must have lengths greater than 0 and offsets greater than or equal to 0!
Cause:
Some of the offsets or lengths of the import fields have not been set.
Solution: Edit the import map file, and check the type of map file. Perhaps the file is not text with fixed
record length.
Message: Delimiter not specified!
Cause:
You did not specify the fields delimiter when you edited the import map.
Solution: Edit the import map file and check the fields delimiter.
Message: Map type is different from the one specified! Map type was modified.
Cause:
You loaded an import map that has a different file type than the current one.
Solution: MasterDirectory changed the type to the current one.
Message: Prefix already exists!
Cause:
You specified a prefix that is defined already.
Solution: Change the prefix, or delete the old prefix that has the same Replace part.
Message: Map type is dBase! Source file must have .DBF extension.
Cause:
The specified source file does not have .DBF extension, but the import file type is dBase.
Solution: Change either the type of import map or the name of the source file in the Import map file
