Exporting Data

This section describes the error messages you might encounter while editing export maps or exporting data
from MasterDirectory.
Message: Destination file name not specified!
Cause:
You saved the export map, but you did not specify the file name for the destination file.
Solution: Specify a file name for the destination file.
Message: Cannot find export settings file XXXXXX!
Cause:
You attempted to export a file.
Solution: Check the name of the export map file that the export procedure will use.
Message: Data integrity problem has been detected! Use utility menu to reindex directory.
Cause:
You opened an export map file, and the indexes in the database file are incorrect (for example,
this file was modified using an external editor).
Solution: Try to reindex the database file. If the message re-appears, re-import the MasterDirectory.
Message: This map has been created for a different directory! Continue anyway?
Cause:
You opened an export or import map file that was created for a different directory.
Solution: Make sure that the export or import map can be used with the current directory.
Message: Illegal or missing Fields settings!
Cause:
The specified file is not an export map (even though it has the extension ".exp" in its file name).
Some of the field numbers are out of the range of the current directory.
Solution: Check that the file is not corrupted (via an external editor).
Message: Illegal or missing Index Fields setting!
Cause:
The Index field number from the export map file is out of range of the current directory or
greater than PhoneLine limitation of index files (that is, 10).
Solution: Check the Index field number from the export map file.
Message: Cannot open output file!
Cause:
You exported the directory with the destination file name specified incorrectly.
Incorrect access rights to the destination directory.
Solution: Check that the destination file name is correct.
Message: Export has not completed! The exported data shouldn't be used unless export completes
successfully. Cancel export?
