Re-Indexing a Directory
If you made any changes to the directory using external tools (for example, dBASE), the indexes in the
directory may no longer be set correctly. You should re-index a directory if you encounter either of the
following problems:
•
You are unable to "pack" the directory (that is, MasterDirectory disallows the packing procedure).
•
You are unable to find a record that you are certain exists in the directory.
To re-index a directory:
1.
From the Tools menu, choose Reindex.
The following dialog box appears:

Choose the Yes button.
The following message box appears:

Choose the OK button.
