Setting the Fields in MDAccess

MasterDirectory enables you to "map" fields in a MasterDirectory file to MDAccess fields that will be used
by software applications such as Avaya Softconsole. You can map fields in the current MasterDirectory file
to the following MDAccess fields:
Notes field, which is the field that MDAccess will use for the free-form notes field in an application
such as Avaya Softconsole. The Notes field can contain up to 255 characters. You can specify any field
in a directory to be the Notes field.
Dial field, which is the field that MDAccess will dial by default when you press the ENTER key in an
application such as Avaya Softconsole.
Email field, which is the field that MDAccess will use for email addresses when you use the email
command in an application such as Avaya Softconsole.
Name field(s), which is the field(s) that MDAccess will use for names in an application such as Avaya
Softconsole.
Switch Phone field, which is the field that MDAccess will use for the phone number on the ACP server
in an application such as Avaya Softconsole.
NOTE:
Avaya Softconsole uses the Switch Phone field for second party call information and line status
information.
