Creating an Import Map for a Text Fixed Record Length Source File
To create an import map for a text fixed record length source file:
1.
Open the MasterDirectory file in which you want to import data.
2.
From the Data Exchange menu, choose Import.
The Import Maps dialog box appears.
3.
Choose the New button.
The Import Type (Step 1 of 4) dialog box appears.
4.
Select the Text Fixed Record Length option button.
5.
Choose the Next button.
The Source Description (Step 2 of 4) dialog box appears.
