MasterDirectory User's Guide
Using this dialog box, you can specify:
the header and footer that appears on each page of the phone book.
the font, font style, and size that is used for the header, footer, directory entries, and titles in the
phone book.
whether you want to print the titles on each page of the phone book.
whether you want to print a frame around each page of the phone book.
the margins for the phone book. Note that the margins are set in units of dots. For example, if your
printer has a resolution of 300 dots per inch (dpi), and you want the left margin to be one inch, you
would enter 300 in the Left box of the Margin Offsets area. In this example, if you wanted the left
margin to be one-half inch, you would enter 150 in the Left box of the Margin Offsets area.
whether you want the pages in the phone book numbered and the number of the first page.
the number of columns in the phone book. (Each column will contain all the selected fields.)
the line spacing between entries in the phone book.
whether you want to group entries according to a field.
Grouping on a field will cause entries with similar values in that field to be printed together.
Within the group, entries are sorted by the key field. You can specify whether you want the whole
field to be used for comparison or just the first few letters (for example, an alphabetical listing
grouped by the first letter).
what will separate a group of entries.

Customize your page settings. When you are finished setting the page settings, choose the OK button.

Choose the Save button to save your template (if you made any changes).
The Save As dialog box appears.

In the File name box, enter the file name for the template, and choose the Save button.

Choose the Print button to print the phone book.
