Configuring VoIP Settings
The system administrator then assigns a user name to each trunk:
Trunk
Atlanta - Boston
Atlanta - Chicago
Boston - Chicago
Based on these parameters defined by the administrator, the dial prefix for each
AastraLink network in this example is as follows:
Once the AastraLink trunking information is mapped out, the administrator is
ready to configure the trunk between Atlanta and Boston, and does the following
steps:
Logs into the Atlanta AastraLink device (10.30.50.125)

Clicks the dial prefix for the destination end of the trunk. In this case, the

Boston AastraLink network: 7 + 1 + (number).
Specifies the destination hostname (10.50.60.135) and user name, and then

saves the changes.
