On-Hook Dial

On-Hook Dial is used to go on-line and dial numbers manually (live). The
dial tone is present and numbers are dialed as you press the digits on the
keypad. This is useful for interactive dialing, when you must wait for voice
prompts and make selections by entering certain digits. Example: You place
a call and a message prompts press 1 for voice message, press 2 for fax, and
press 3 for receptionist, etc.
This will also bypass memory send and send the documents directly from
the ADF.

Searching for a Number in Memory

There are two ways to search for a number in memory. You can either scan
from A to Z sequentially, or you can enter the first letter of the name
associated with the number.

Searching Sequentially through Memory

Press the Speed Dial
buttons to move through the memory until you find the number
you want.
Pressing the Down
through the entire memory in alphabetical order (from A to Z), and
pressing the Up
alphabetical order (from Z to A).
button, then press the Up
button allows you to search downward
button allows you to search upward in reverse
