a. Open a CLI connection (serial or telnet) to one of the switches in the
fabric.
b. Log into the switch as Admin. The default password is password.

can also enter the firmwareshow command.
d. If the switch is not running Fabric OS v2.6.1, v3.1.x, or v4.1.x, upgrade
the firmware as required.
