Probable Cause
Display quality of the
received document is poor.
The drum counter has
reached 16,000 pages.
The maximum number of
Speed Dial, One Touch or
Group Dial numbers have
been used.
The remote station does not
have the desired feature to
complete the communication.
The job reservation memory
area is full.
Remote fax number is busy.
A document is not fully
inserted into the Document
Support.
The lower paper tray is
empty.
The remaining memory
becomes full while storing
the document into memory.
The memory became full
during a Transmission, etc.
The specified feature is not
enabled now.
The toner cartridge is empty.
The designated number of
pages does not match the
actual document.
Corrective Action
Retry the transmission.
Replace the Drum Unit. See
Chapter C, "Replacing the
Drum Cartridge".
Delete some numbers.
Verify the remote station is
compatible with the desired
feature.
Wait until some jobs have
completed and try again.
Retry the transmission.
Reload the document.
Add paper to the Lower Paper
Tray. Ensure the Lower Paper
Tray is closed.
Send the document in
sections, or use the Direct
Send Transmission Mode.
Press the Stop key to cancel
the message then retry the
communication when
adequate residual memory is
gained.
Refer to the correct
procedure.
Replace the toner cartridge.
See Chapter D, "Replacing
the Toner Cartridge".
Verify the designated number
is correct. If the document
misfed, resend the document.
