Setting Up the HP NetServer LPr
Unpack the contents of the shipping box.
Verify the contents of the shipping box against the
Contents Checklist included with your HP NetServer
LPr. If anything is missing or damaged, call your
reseller.
Store the empty boxes and packing material in a safe
place. This is especially important if you plan to ship
the HP NetServer LPr elsewhere for final installation.
Rack Installation Road Map
Shipped with the rack. Covers overall rack
assembly.
Rack Configuration Sheet
This sheet ships with the rack and illustrates
the target configuration of components within
the rack (Refer to Step 1 in Chapter 9,
"Mounting the HP NetServer LPr in the Rack").
Rack Component Assembly Instructions
These are sheets shipped with various
components for the rack such as the cable
guide, fan assemblies, and power distribution
units (PDUs). Use them to mount these
components on the rack.
Rack Cabling Reference
This document ships with the server and
supports rack configuration, routing data
cables, and planning power distribution within
the rack.
HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM
This CD-ROM supports configuration and
troubleshooting of the HP NetServer LPr. It is
shipped with each LPr.
