Chapter 10 Connecting the Monitor,
Keyboard, Mouse, and UPS
Connect the monitor, keyboard, and mouse cables and the AC power cord to the
appropriate connectors on the rear of the chassis. When connecting the LPr to
peripherals, use the cable ties and labels that come with the product.
If you are using a switch box to connect one monitor, keyboard and mouse to a
number of servers, refer to the instructions that came with the switch box.

NOTE
If you have installed your HP NetServer LPr into a rack, refer
to the Rack Cabling Reference for the HP NetServer LPr for
instructions on how to cable the NetServer to external
connections.
If you have an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), refer to the instructions
supplied with it. Install and turn on the UPS.
The HP NetServer LPr performs a diagnostic test when it is connected to an
external power source, and then performs another test when the power switch is
turned on. If an error condition occurs, note any error code appearing on the
front panel, then refer to Chapter 13, "Troubleshooting."
