User Permissions

The group-centered approach of Integrated Administrator to user permissions facilitates the
maintenance of user groups and groups of blade PC bays. This approach operates according to the
following principles:
A blade PC bay is assigned exclusively to one group only.
A group can be assigned many blade PC bays.
A user can have various permission levels within any number of groups.
Access to a blade PC by users or groups depends on the rights assigned to the blade PC bay in
which the blade PC is installed.
Use the following table to distinguish the various permission levels available from the HP PC Blade
Enclosure Integrated Administrator.
